Pickering Manor to honor Rotary Club of Newtown at 7th Annual Sips n’ Suds

Posted

Pickering Manor, a 5-star, community-owned nonprofit Life Plan Community, is thrilled to host the 7th Annual Sips n’ Suds Fundraiser on Thursday, November 13 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at Rafters in Newtown.

This year’s event proudly honors the Rotary Club of Newtown with the Sidney T. Yates Award for their extraordinary generosity, civic leadership, and longtime partnership with Pickering Manor. The Rotary’s annual Golf Outing proceeds continue to directly benefit Pickering residents, making a lasting difference in the community.

Guests will enjoy regional beer, wine, and distillery tastings, chef-crafted food, music, dancing, a silent auction, and a wine pull—all in a casual, lively setting. Featured vendors include Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Ashlynn Distillery, and Doan Distillery, as well as Aristaeus Craft Brewing Company.

Pickering thanks Cura Hospitality, The First National Bank & Trust Company of Newtown, and JKJ (Johnson, Kendall & Johnson) as top sponsors helping make this event possible.

Tickets are $75 per person (includes food and beverages) or $45 for designated drivers. Sponsorship and vendor opportunities are still available, offering excellent visibility for businesses that want to support a meaningful local cause.

Purchase tickets or learn more at www.pickeringmanor.org under “Community and Events,” or contact Maureen Kuhar at mkuhar@pickeringmanor.org.

Join us for a spirited evening of food, fun, and philanthropy—while celebrating a truly outstanding group of community advocates! (note: sponsor list current as of 9/19/25)
