As November approaches, as your representatives in the state legislature, we want to remind you that every vote counts.
If you are not already registered to vote, the deadline to do so is Monday, Oct. 20, for the Nov. 4 general election. You may register in person at our county elections office, located at the Bucks County Administration Building at 55 E. Court St. in Doylestown, by mail or by visiting the state’s online voter registration website at vote.pa.gov.
You can also apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot at pavoterservices.pa.gov. The last day to apply is Tuesday, Oct. 28. Completed mail-in or absentee ballots must be returned by 8 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
If you would like to vote in person, polls will be open from 7 am to 8 pm on election day, Tuesday, Nov. 4, at your local polling place. You can also use vote.pa.gov to check your in-person polling location for your address.
This year, there are important municipal, school board, and local judicial elections on the ballot. Critical statewide elections for one open position each on the Commonwealth and Superior courts and the retention of three Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices are also on the ballot this November.
Voting is the foundation of our democracy. Whether it’s local, state, or federal elections, your voice is key to deciding the future pathways of Pennsylvania. From decisions about education, economic development, and public safety, your vote makes a difference.
Every election is a crucial election to shape the future. Your voice matters. Don’t let it go unheard.
