Annual Crafts in the Meadow festival on Oct. 17 & 18

Curiosity, social interaction, imagination, exploration, entertainment, self-realization and creativity are some of the descriptions used to share experiences one has when attending a workshop or class at Tyler Park Center for the Arts.

The same desire for fulfillment that drives community members of all ages and backgrounds to try something new also attracts art lovers from Bucks County and beyond to participate in Crafts in the Meadow. This special weekend festival will be held on Oct. 17 and 18 this year.

Participants will experience the intersection of art appreciation with the opportunity to meet the makers and engage with hands-on activities while sharing in the fun of exceptional live musical entertainment in the most beautiful natural atmosphere imaginable.

Surrounded by 1700 acres of State Park, one discovers the home of Tyler Park Center for the Arts.  Nestled in meadows and sculpture gardens, this special art center thrives as a community of dedicated members, class and workshop participants, artists, volunteers and patrons of the arts.

The third weekend in October each year the Tyler Barn and surrounding area are transformed through hard work and creativity to welcome this magical event featuring over 130 indoor and outdoor artisan booths, kettle corn and fudge, Greek food, vegan offerings and more!

Check out Pearl Coffee Company Cart, Warwick Farms Beer Garden as well as non-profit and sponsor booths. In addition, there will be live musical stage performances featuring Little Red Rooster Blues Band, Bob Tomlinson, Joe Borthwick band and Don Cook & Gypsy Stew playing American sounds in a folk/country/blues tradition that was born in the deep South and New Orleans, from where they travel!

This event supports community art center initiatives throughout the year including the Art Scholarship program. Consider Volunteering!

Entry is free for all volunteers and it’s a great way to be an integral part of this special place.
